Dear users,
in June, too, we have prepared several new features that expand the possibilities of working with the application and simplify everyday processes. We believe the new features will bring you more comfort, control, and accuracy. Let’s take a closer look at them:
Address search using Mapy.com (formerly Mapy.cz)
In addition to the existing option of searching for addresses using Google Maps, we added an alternative in the form of the Mapy.com platform (formerly known as Mapy.cz). This option will be appreciated especially by users who work in areas where Google provides less accurate data.
- Each user can switch their preferred platform for searching addresses at any time.
- The administrator can set the default map service for the entire company in the system settings.
Statuses of open jobs & how they were created
To make it easier for you to navigate and work with the application, we are now dividing a job in the “Open” status into four statuses:
- Waiting to be scheduled - a job that contains no site visits, or only site visits in the “Completed” or “Cancelled” status
- Has an active site visit - a job that contains site visits in a status other than “Completed” or “Cancelled”
- Waiting for the customer - if you use sending notifications to the customer for scheduled maintenance but the customer has not yet responded to the notification, this status will help you identify these jobs
- Customer responded - if you use sending notifications to the customer for scheduled maintenance and the customer has already responded to the notification, this status will help you identify these jobs
You can, of course, filter all of these statuses, both in the job table and in the day plan.
- Created by a user - you will find this flag on a job if it was created by a system user
- Created by the system - if the job was created automatically, for example in the case of scheduled maintenance
- Created by an integration - if the job is created by an integration, for example from another system (e.g., Raynet), you will find this flag on it
Editing the event categories code list
To make planning and evaluating events even clearer, we are expanding the options for managing code lists:
Users with the Administrator role can now also edit the event categories code list -
In the Settings → Code lists → Other section you can:
- add new categories
- edit their names
- change their order as needed
- or remove unneeded categories
This option allows you to adapt the system to your specific processes and improve the overview in reports and in the daily plan.
Displaying the cost price of material in reports
If you record the purchase price when creating material, the application will now display it in the Reports overview for a specific job as well. Thanks to this, you get an immediate overview of the real material costs without having to switch to another part of the system. The purchase price can be entered or edited directly in the material card when creating or editing it. This feature will help not only with tracking costs, but also with reviewing the profitability of individual jobs afterward.
Searching for material using a barcode (in the mobile app)
When searching for material in the mobile app, it is no longer necessary to manually enter the entire code.
You can now use the barcode scanner - just like with searching for devices. The feature is available on the material search page - just point the camera at the barcode and the application will automatically find the material
This change significantly speeds up work in the field, reduces errors, and relieves you of unnecessary retyping.
New location and expanded settings options in the mobile app
To make it easier for you to access important features, we moved the Settings section in the mobile app to the main menu.
You will now find it at the far right of the bottom bar. After opening it, several useful sections are displayed:
- Customer support - the option to clearly manage your requests or create a new one
- Settings - here you can edit your personal signature, turn notifications on/off, set up location services or the default navigation application
- About the application - here you will find information about the application version, etc.
- Rate the application - give us feedback directly from the application
Thanks to this move, the settings are more accessible and clearer than ever before. Notifications, on the other hand, can now be found in the day plan in the top right corner.
