We would like to introduce the long-awaited new features that we added to the mWork365 application last month!
Creating events by a technician
In the new version of the application, technicians can now create events themselves. Until now, the system worked so that all events of the type - vacation, training, sick leave - had to be entered into the system by a dispatcher. Now this functionality can also be used by users with the “Technician” role. This is an optional feature, so it is up to each administrator which technicians they allow to create events.
Creating jobs and site visits by a technician
A long-awaited feature will finally be part of the system! Technicians will now be able to schedule a site visit or job for themselves. Of course, this comes with certain rules that are tied to this new feature. You will learn in the video how to allow a technician to create site visits, jobs, or both, and what their permissions will be!
Orderer’s price list for the end customer
When an end customer rents several devices from different orderers with whom different contractual terms are agreed, entering items into the work report can be tricky. That’s why we added a new button to the application, “Use work prices according to the orderer”. When you create a job and the end customer and the orderer differ, you can enable this feature in the last step of creating the job, “Details”. When technicians then fill out the job protocol, they will see in the selection only the orderer’s work items with their preset prices.
Displaying partial times in the site visit detail
For better clarity, we added information to the site visit detail. You will now find here values such as - the scheduled time, total duration, time on the way (if you use the “On our way” feature), and time on site.
You can find information on how to set up the new features in the video:
