mNews summer 2026

Dear users,
we hope you are enjoying every moment of this summer! As it draws to a close, we would like to introduce several new features that will be available in the system from the beginning of September.

This time, we focused primarily on expanding recurring service options and simplifying equipment management. The new features will help you work more effectively with different types of service activities, set intervals more clearly, and manage equipment that is no longer active more efficiently.

Recurring service categories

  • New settings - We have moved recurring service settings from Settings – Jobs to a new standalone Recurring service tab. This tab contains the settings for all recurring service categories. You can create up to ten categories in the system, for example for different types of inspections, functional tests, or other recurring service activities.

  • Creating a category - After clicking New category, complete the following fields:

    • Category name – a name of your choice, such as Inspection, Functional test, or Operational capability test.

    • Category slug – generated automatically from the category name. No further action is required on your part.

    • Default service interval – enter the default service interval in days or months based on the required frequency. This serves as the default value and can subsequently be adjusted directly on a specific piece of equipment.

    • Default service mode – choose from four options. You will already be familiar with three of them from the current settings:

      1. Highlight only – the system only highlights the equipment.
      2. Create a job automatically – the system automatically creates a job containing the equipment. The Recurring service reminder date field in the recurring service settings determines how far in advance the job is created.
      3. Notify the customer and create a job automatically – the system automatically creates a job containing the equipment and simultaneously sends a notification to the customer.
      4. Notify the customer without creating a job – the system notifies the customer of the upcoming recurring service date but does not create a job automatically.
    • Job category for automatic creation – if you select a mode that creates jobs automatically, use this field to specify the category assigned to the automatically created job.

  • Equipment settings - When creating or editing equipment, you can now choose from all the recurring service categories you have created. You can easily select the categories relevant to the equipment and adjust selected parameters, such as the service interval or reminder mode. A new Recurring service tab has also been added to the equipment card, allowing you to manage individual categories for the specific equipment conveniently.

  • Display settings - In the Equipment table in the web app, you can now add your recurring service categories as separate columns. Each column displays the next recurring service date for that category. This gives you a clearer overview directly in the equipment list without having to open each equipment record.

Activating and deactivating equipment

  • All equipment is currently marked as Active. To deactivate a piece of equipment, open its details, click the three-dot icon in the top-right corner, and select Deactivate equipment. Equipment can only be deactivated if it is not included in an open job. You can reactivate it in the same way whenever necessary.
  • This feature is particularly useful when equipment is sold, taken out of service, or no longer needs to be recorded. Once deactivated, the equipment cannot be added to a job and recurring service reminders will no longer be sent.

Dark mode in the mobile app

  • The final new feature is the option to switch the mobile app to dark mode. In the mobile app settings, you can now choose:
    • Light mode
    • Dark mode
    • Automatic mode – matches the app’s appearance to your mobile device settings.
  • Dark mode is particularly useful when working in low-light conditions or if you commonly use it in other apps. This option lets you tailor the mobile app environment more closely to your preferences.
