Dear customers, after some time we are delivering an update to the application that brings visible changes for users.

Forms and documents

The most visible change, which affects both the web and mobile apps, is a change to how forms and documents are displayed in the site visit detail. On both platforms they have been merged, and you will now find the documents associated with a form nicely together. Another shared new feature is the expanded information about linked devices, where we display the serial number and location along with the device name, if they are filled in. At the same time, we no longer repeat the information for every document, as was the case until now. It is now displayed only if the document is for a specific device.

Mobile app

In the mobile app, the change is the most visible. All available actions for a form are immediately visible without using gestures. Depending on the site visit status and the user’s permissions, the primary action for filling out the form is visible; the other actions are available in the menu under the three dots.

We also added a completion progress indicator, which consists of three states

  • Fill in - the form is waiting to be filled in.
  • Filled in - the form has all required fields filled in.
  • Signed - all documents that require a signature are signed

Linked devices are displayed in rows, and a maximum of three records are visible; if more devices are assigned, a show more button is displayed. For devices, we also display serial numbers and locations, if they are filled in.

Regenerating data

Did you find out after completing a site visit that the customer didn’t give you up-to-date information and wants you to correct the issued documents? You can now handle this without the assistance of customer support. For forms in completed site visits, we added a Regenerate feature, which updates the data in the associated documents.

Scheduled maintenance information

For better management of scheduled maintenance, we added a new notification email that is sent every day and contains a list of devices whose scheduled maintenance is approaching - the system sends the email based on the scheduled maintenance date on the device and the configured lead time that you have in the system settings (Settings/Jobs).

Rescheduling a site visit

We adjusted the permissions for site visits so that technicians who schedule for themselves can also reschedule their site visits.

Material management

Within the web application, the windows for managing material on a form and for issuing and stocking material were adjusted. The new look allows us to display all the necessary data better and is also clearer for you, the users.

We also incorporated the option of infinite scrolling in the material list, so everything is always visible even without using search.

We also added missing features that material management in the mobile app already offers, specifically editing a selected item - quantity, price (if displayed), and name. The option to fully edit a manual item was also added.

Thank you for your trust, and we believe these new features will contribute to better use of our system. If you have any questions or need more information, please contact customer support.

Best regards,
The mWork365 team
